DoD Business Transformation Agency Support Office

NewVectors provides expertise in requirements development/analysis and program management in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Business Transformation Agency (BTA). BTA represents an unprecedented effort to integrate financial management and business operations into a joint Defense Department business enterprise.

NewVectors has taken the lead in organizational transformation activities within BTA, specifically the integration and coordination of efforts across mission areas (lines of business) impacted by BTA. NewVectors’ program management support to BTA is in integrating portfolios of systems in an environment that presents a dynamic scope, yet demands a rigid structure. Some of the common issues NewVectors’ program team addresses are: (1) how to integrate different systems from different organizations into standardized processes that provide traceability (2) how to choose the most economically sound decision that will provide the greatest return on investment, and (3) how to govern such processes while maintaining compliance to existing Federal laws and regulations.
