Where We Started
NewVectors is a long-standing and respected provider of
independent research, analysis and consulting services in the
government marketplace. To support rapid growth and enhancement
of our core competencies, we became a division of
TechTeam Global Solutions on June 1, 2007. Our combined
organization sustains our tradition of helping government
leaders and program managers create agile enterprises that
accelerate mission and business performance while carefully
managing risk.
TechTeam Government Solutions (2007)
TechTeam is a respected provider of IT-based services that
reliably meets the needs of its government clients. With core
competencies in information security, network engineering, help
desk call centers, enterprise architecture, and net-centric
operations, TechTeam provides mission-oriented services to the
Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and state and local
agencies. We utilize proven commercial best practices, such as
ITIL processes, to support a wide-range of customers—bringing
results, and exceeding expectations for quality and value.

Altarum (2001 - 2006)
Altarum was formed in May of 2001 when ERIM and Vector Research,
Incorporated (VRI) merged. The companies shared histories of
technical excellence, non-partisan research and customer
satisfaction. Today, Altarum is a nonprofit research institute
working to become the nation's preeminent provider of objective
health systems research and solutions.
Environmental Research Institute of Michigan (1975 - 2001)
ERIM was an integrator of advanced technology, pulling together
scientific and technical knowledge from diverse fields to design
complete systems. Several of these systems have changed the face
of technology as we know it. For example, the development and
implementation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) incorporated an
entirely new concept of radar technology.
Vector Research, Incorporated (1973 - 2001)
VRI was founded as a spin-off from the University of Michigan’s
Systems Research Lab in 1969. VRI supported the Department of
Defense (DoD) with operations research and simulation-based
analyses, expanding into the burgeoning areas of program
management and logistics to help the DoD reengineer its support
infrastructure with modern business practices and information
technology.
