Acquisition Support Services

What Can We Do for Your Agency?
NewVectors works at the intersection of people, processes and technology
to provide comprehensive, world-class support to acquisition professionals
throughout government. We have capable analysts, experienced researchers, and skilled content
experts who can improve enterprise responsiveness in:
• Acquisition strategy development and execution
• Program management oversight
• Life-cycle systems engineering management
• Economic analysis, business case development, and OMB 300 preparation
• Process reengineering and change management
• Portfolio management and enterprise architecture guidance.
Disciplined Approach to Program Life-Cycle Services
Experience has taught us the value of understanding the regulations and
legislative requirements for program control. We use this knowledge to
work in partnership with oversight authorities to
tailor the acquisition process as appropriate for each program, avoiding
unnecessary
program cost and schedule delays. We effectively use our knowledge and
experience to keep staffing requirements modest throughout the program
while still meeting all requirements. Lastly, we
are keenly aware of the Organizational Conflict of interest (OCI) issues
inherent in our work and strive to avoid even the appearance of OCI.
Spotlight on Defense Logistics Agency’s Business Systems Modernization
Since 1998, NewVectors has partnered with the Defense Logistics
Agency’s Business Systems Modernization (BSM) program office to provide
a full range of program management support services, including analysis
and support of all acquisition milestone and program requirements.
Examples include portfolio management, program execution, Clinger-Cohen
Act compliance, acquisition strategy development
and maintenance, risk analysis and systems operations support planning.
Our efforts have resulted in documentation that now serves as a
Department-level best practice example for repeatable IT acquisition
management. NewVectors is currently engaged with the BSM office to
establish a formal structure by which
both current and emerging investments can be scored.
