Expanded services role includes Systems Engineering, Oversight Support
Alexandria, Virginia (May 22, 2006) – NewVectors LLC, a subsidiary of Altarum Institute, today announced it has been awarded a $7.7 million contract that extends and expands the scope of the company’s efforts in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Business Transformation Agency (BTA).
The BTA is responsible for leading business enterprise-wide transformation efforts across the DoD. Its mission is to achieve improved war fighter support while enabling financial accountability across the Department. NewVectors has supported the BTA since it was established in October 2005 and before that its predecessor, the Business Management Modernization Program (BMMP), since August 2002. The Agency is now driving innovation, efficiency and fundamental improvement in the way DoD enterprise-wide entities do business.
Under the award, NewVectors will provide a wide range of support services to the BTA, including:
